His areas of expertise include spine innovation, cervical myelopathy, spinal cord damage, and spinal cord tumors.
Dr Girish Joshi received his medical degree from J N Medical College in Belgaum in 2005. He later earned a master’s degree in general surgery from Bangalore Medical College ( 2007-2010). In 2010, he was admitted to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He was a senior resident at Bangalore Medical College and an assistant professor at Rajrajeswari Medical College’s Department of General Surgery. Dr Girish Joshi graduated from IPGMER, Kolkata in 2014 with a residency in Neurosurgery. - Dr Girish Krishna Joshi has been a consultant neurosurgeon and spine surgeon at Apollo Hospital, Bangalore, since 2014.
