- Dr Himika Gupta is a well-trained pediatric ophthalmologist with extensive experience at SRCC Children’s Hospital. She is a qualified and hardworking specialist who strives to ensure that children are healthy and happy.
- Dr Himika Gupta received her MBBS from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital Parel, Mumbai, and several years later, her MS in ophthalmology. She also trained in ocular oncology at the LV Prasad Eye Institute (Hyderabad) and participated in the National Retinoblastoma Registry under ICMR. In addition, she received training at the KBHB Eye and ENT facility in Mumbai and worked with the cancer genetics team at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. She trained in Canada at the Hospital for Sick Children, the University of Toronto, and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre to hone her interests. She works at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre’s Ocular Oncology Service (Canada). She has served as a clinical visitor at such prestigious American institutions as the Wills Eye Institute (Philadelphia), Cleveland Clinic (Ohio), and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York). She has received instruction in facial esthetics, Botox, cosmetology, and silicone oculofacial prostheses. She served as a consultant ocular oncologist and co-director of retinoblastoma services at Narayana Nethralaya Bangalore. Her areas of interest include orbito-facial reconstruction following trauma or cancer resections, tear duct abnormalities, cosmetic lid procedures, eye sparing treatment of eye malignancies, vision therapy, cancer genetics, and oculofacial prosthesis.
- Dr Himika Gupta has also served as a Reviewer for the Saudi Journal of Ophthalmology (Oculoplastic section) and the Journal of Ophthalmology Visual Sciences, the official journal of KOS (Ocular Oncology section).
