Professional Statement
Dr Weiss is a Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine’s Division of Pediatric Critical Care. After receiving a degree in Biology and History from Yeshiva University, Dr. Weiss attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University. He finished his fellowship at the New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical Center after completing his pediatrics training at the North Shore/Cornell program.
Dr Weiss joined the UCLA faculty immediately after his training. He established the database for the pediatric critical care unit, which presently has information on nearly 15,000 admissions. As the director of a subacute care facility, he is responsible for the care of technologically dependent children.
Dr Weiss is linked with a number of regional institutions, including UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He has been practicing law for almost 20 years.
