Dr Janice Tung earned her medical degree at the National University of Singapore, where her outstanding performance in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) led to her being honored with the SS Ratnam Book Prize by the O&G Society of Singapore.
Her commitment to excellence continued as she completed her specialized training in O&G through the SingHealth Residency Programme, gaining accreditation as a Specialist in O&G by the Specialists Accreditation Board under the Ministry of Health in Singapore. Dr Janice Tung is also a proud member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom.
Before joining the O&G Specialist Clinic, Dr. Janice served as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Singapore’s largest women’s hospital.
Renowned for her dedication to mentoring clinicians, she was appointed as clinical faculty at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore. Her research work focuses on enhancing ovarian conservation in laparoscopic cystectomies, labor induction, and preterm labor.
