Dr Juan C Alejos, MD, is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Heart Transplant/Cardiomyopathy Program at this time. He founded the Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension program and still serves as its Director. Pediatric cardiology is his area of expertise at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine.

Dr Juan C Alejos obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before completing his internship, residency, and fellowship at the UCLA Medical Center. His research interests include the utilization of pulmonary vasodilator therapy in patients with congenital heart disease, particularly those with single ventricle physiology.
