Biodata
Dr Liana Koe, MD, earned her medical degree from the National University of Singapore and completed her specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) within the SingHealth cluster.
Dr Liana Koe obtained accreditation as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Singapore Accreditation Board (Ministry of Health) and holds membership in the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK), along with registration as a specialist with the Singapore Medical Council.
Prior to her current role at STO+G practice, Dr. Koe served as a specialist at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Emphasizing a holistic approach, she endeavors to provide the best possible medical care by offering compassion and a listening ear to her patients, ensuring a positive pregnancy journey.
Dr Liana Koe fully supports her patients in choosing their preferred delivery method, be it vaginal birth, vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC), or caesarean sections.
In addition to managing general gynaecological conditions such as fibroids and cysts and demonstrating proficiency in laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Koe has a keen interest in cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, and treatment of pre-invasive cervical disease. She is an active member of the Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS).
Dr Liana Koe is committed to mentoring current and future generations of doctors. She serves as a Physician Faculty for SingHealth O&G residents and holds the position of Clinical Teacher/Lecturer for medical schools in Singapore, including Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Duke-NUS Medical School, and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
Engaged in clinical research, Dr. Koe has presented her research findings at both local and international conferences, spanning countries such as Australia, Japan, South Africa, Austria, and France. Notably, she was honored with the SingHealth Duke-NUS O&G Academic Clinical Programme (ACP) Grant Award in 2013 for her research focused on improving osteoporosis screening in menopausal women. Dr. Koe is deeply passionate about community service and actively volunteers on medical trips overseas.
