Biodata
Dr Lim Khong Hee completed his undergraduate studies at the National University of Singapore in 1992, followed by his postgraduate degree in 1998. In 2002, he undertook specialized training as a Clinical Fellow (HMDP) in Upper Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery at the prestigious Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Before establishing his private practice, Dr. Lim held significant roles, including Chief of the Upper Gastrointestinal Service and Senior Consultant in the Department of General Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
During his time as the Director of the Centre for Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the same hospital, he actively fostered the growth of complex laparoscopic skills and techniques, organizing a range of laparoscopic courses, from basic to masterclass levels.
Dr Lim Khong Hee specializes in performing upper gastrointestinal and laparoscopic procedures, such as radical gastric resections with systematic lymphadenectomy, laparoscopic fundoplication, and laparoscopic surgery for severe obesity. He possesses expertise in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
