Dr Michael Anderson completed his training in London before embarking on a period of research that led to an M.D. in various elements of viral hepatitis. In 1990, he was assigned to the West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist, as well as an Honorary Consultant Physician at Chelsea and Westminster. Between 1997 until 2003, he served as Medical Director at West Middlesex Hospital before relocating to Chelsea and Westminster full-time.
He has a special interest in liver illness and is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine.
