Dr Roth received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine in 1979 with the distinctions of Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and his M.D. from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1983 with the distinction of AOA. He is Boardcertified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care, having completed his specialized studies at UCLA Medical Center.
