Pediatric Cardiologist Dr Nancy J Halnon, MD has been on the UCLA School of Medicine faculty since 2002. Her major clinical responsibility is the treatment of children with cardiomyopathy, heart failure, and heart transplants. She is a known specialist in cardiac care in muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular illness and helps to lead the clinical activities at the UCLA Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. As part of the Precision Health effort within UCLA Healthcare, she undertakes examination, screening, and treatment of hereditary heart illnesses, including cardiomyopathy. She is assisted by a geneticist and genetic counselor.
Dr Nancy J Halnon graduated from Boston University with a B.S. and an M.D. She did pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at UCLA.
