Biodata
Dr Ong Ian, a mother of two wonderful children, graduated from the Royal Free and University College London Medical School. After practicing medicine in London for five years, she returned to Singapore in 2008, where she has been living and working ever since.
Dr Ong Ian completed her postgraduate specialist training at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore, gaining expertise in various departments such as Pediatric Medicine, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Children’s Emergency, and Pediatric Subspecialties.
Dr Ong Ian holds postgraduate qualifications from The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK and is registered as a specialist in Pediatric Medicine with the Singapore Medical Council.
Her clinical interests primarily revolve around early childhood nutrition, encompassing infant feeding and nutrition. During her training, she played a key role in revising the feeding protocol at the neonatal department of KKH in 2009.
