- Dr. Ranjan is a renowned Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with over twelve years of experience in difficult trauma surgery.
Dr. Burnwal is a member in good standing of the Bombay Orthopedic Society, the Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Asian Association for Dynamic Osteosynthesis (Hong Kong), and the AO Trauma Foundation, India.
In 2005, he graduated from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in Mumbai with an MBBS. In 2009, he earned an MS from the Government Medical College and Hospital in Aurangabad and in 2011, he completed a fellowship in international arthroplasty in Seoul, South Korea. - Dr. Burnwal has contributed significantly to the treatment of complicated trauma, including peri-articular and intra-articular fractures, fracture fixation, complex trauma surgery, spine surgery, and primary hip and knee replacement operations. In his career, he has performed 300 total knee replacements (TKR) and 300 total hip replacements (THR), followed by 200 spine surgeries and 1,000 trauma surgeries.
Among the training and conferences that Dr. Burnwal has attended are the Indian Orthopedic Association Conference IOACON 2007 held in Kolkata, K.T. Dholakia Memorial CME Programme on “Management of Complex Trauma” held in Kolkata, IRCON-2007, Interdisciplinary Research Conference held in Aurangabad, IRCON-2008, Interdisciplinary Research Conference held in Aurangabad, and the Late Dr. Joy Patankar Memorial Post Graduate Teaching Cours.
In addition, he has won an award in recognition of his service.
