For the past 15 years, DR RISHMA DHILLON PAI Pai has worked at Lilavati Hospital. and has been doing it for the past 29 years In Antwerp, Belgium, she received training in endoscopy, IVF, and ICSI, as well as egg and embryo preservation at the world’s largest IVF center in Japan. Belgium’s Schoysman IVF center provided training. In 2017, she received the renowned ‘Fellowship honoris causa’ from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, FRCOG, London, UK, one of the few Indians to earn this honor from this distinguished 90-year-old British organisation. She is the only Indian to have served as President of all three major gynecological, infertility, and endoscopy organizations, including the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), which has 35000 members, the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), and the Indian Association of Gyanecologic Endoscopists (IAGE). Asst. Treasurer of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), an organization of infertility specialists from 68 nations, she is the sole Indian on the board.

She is the first Indian to serve on the World Endometriosis Society’s Board of Directors. DR RISHMA DHILLON PAI is the incoming President of MOGS (The Mumbai Obstetric & Gynaecological society). She has served as the organizing chairperson and organizing secretary for 41 conferences. She has given 66 Orations and has spoken at over 400 national and international conventions.

Dr.Risha is the first Indian to be invited as chairperson and speaker at the ESHRE – Annual Conference of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, which will be held in Barcelona and Vienna, respectively, in 2018 and 2019. This is the world’s largest conference on infertility. She has been a DNB teacher and adjunct visiting professor at Kasturba Medial College in Manipal for many years. Dr. Rishma Pai established the YES- Youth Education and Service initiative, which has provided health screenings and education to over 25000 students and 6000 instructors.

She also started the NARI swastya camp, which has assisted over 25000 women by doing health checkups in over 100 cities across India. She has also actively participated in the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), a government of India initiative initiated by the ministry of health and family welfare. She has enlisted the help of 1500 Indian gynecologists who have agreed to provide free prenatal treatment on the 9th of every month. She has checked hemoglobin levels all around the country in order to eradicate anemia. This is the record for the most anaemia tests performed in a single day, according to the Limca Book of Records. She has launched Mamata TV, a large-scale initiative to install free televisions in doctor’s offices where patient education information will be shown.
