- Dr Sengottuvelu G, or Dr. G Sengottuvelu, is a cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in interventional cardiology.
Dr Sengottuvelu G has received numerous accolades, including the Young Interventionalist Award in AICT; the Best Doctor Award for Best Case Presentation; the CRT Young Leader Award; the Award for Clinical Innovation Excellence; the Award for Clinical Excellence; and the Award for Clinical Innovation Excellence.
He performed the first successful transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in Tamil Nadu; he was the first in South India to use the Clearway catheter for primary angioplasty in acute MI; he was the first in Chennai to use the M guard Stent Technology; and he was the first in South India to use the Minvasys Dedicated Bifurcation stent system. - Dr Sengottuvelu G has performed over 20,000 surgeries, including rotablations of the left main artery, complex PCI, and others.
