Professional Statement

Dr Ranganath is a Los Angeles native. After graduating from Drew/UCLA Medical School and completing her internal medicine residency at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, she returned to UCLA in 2003 for Rheumatology Fellowship. In 2005, she joined the UCLA faculty and in 2010, she earned a master’s degree in clinical research at UCLA. Dr. Ranganath has a keen interest in the study of rheumatoid arthritis. Her particular research objective is to construct a model to predict early response to treatment in RA using imaging indicators (ultrasound and MRI) and biomarkers.

Dr Veena is linked with a number of regional institutions, including UCLA Medical Center and Providence St. John’s Health Center. She has been practicing law for almost twenty years.
