- Dr Venkataswami R is an internationally known plastic surgeon with over 31 years of expertise in India.
Dr Venkataswami R is the first Indian plastic surgeon to receive the International Federation of Hand Societies’ Pioneer of Hand Surgery Award.
In 1998, he became the first Indian to be invited as a Mc Indoe Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London. - Dr Venkataswami R holds degrees in MBBS, MS (General Surgery), FAMS, MCh (Plastic Surgery), FRCS (Edinburgh), and DSc (Plastic Surgery) (Hon).
