Major General Prof Dr H R Harun is a Dhaka-based Consultant Urological Surgeon. He has the following degrees: MBBS, FCPS (Surgery), FRCS (Glasg & Edin), Diploma in Urology (UK), and WHO Fellow (Urology). Major Gen Prof Dr H R Harun enlisted in the Armed Forces of Bangladesh on 14 July 1980.

He has held a variety of roles within the Armed Forces. Finally, he served as the Bangladesh Armed Forces’ Consultant Surgeon General and Chief Urologist until retiring in January 2016. He is now employed as the Principal and Professor of Urology at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College & Hospital.

He treats his patients on a daily basis at Dhaka’s Central Hospital Limited. Major Gen Prof Dr H R Harun practices from 12pm to 5pm at Central Hospital Limited in Dhaka (Closed: Friday).
